Set against the backdrop of Edinburgh Castle, The Royal Edinburgh Military Tattoo draws crowds of 217,000 people each year. Massed pipes and drums, music, Massed military bands, singers and Troupes breathe life into the event with each Tattoo being different from its predecessor as there’s a new theme each year.

Glasgow

Set to hit Glasgow this summer, sister to T in the Park – TRNSMT is a new music festival. T in the Park’s organisers will be bringing acts such as Kasabian, rock giants Radiohead, Belle & Sebastian, Twin Atlantic and Biffy Clyro to the city centre over three days. The non-camping festival dubbed “truly metropolitan” will host bands performing over two stages, but there’ll also be some bars, restaurants and street food available, with more bands set to confirm their appearances in the line-up.

Liverpool

With roots dating back to 1998, Creamfields is the world’s leading dance music festival, originated to provide a large scale outdoor event for the clubbing world. It has since grown into the most renowned and most popular open air electronic music festival in the world. So far the 2017 line-up is confirmed to feature Deadmau5 & Eric Prydz, with the full line-up yet to be confirmed, bringing together pioneers who transcend genres across the DJ and live music spheres.

Newcastle

  • FESTIVAL ON THE WALL (FOTW)

Located on the world famous Hadrian’s Wall, Festival On The Wall (FOTW) comes in as a new and independent festival presented in a boutique-type experience, except on a large scale. Over a period of three days and three nights, FOTW will transform into a community of like-minded individuals, all of whom share a common passion for live music, a passion for the region and a desire to form part of something quite special. The line-up already looks amazing with confirmed acts to include Mark Ronson, Maximo Park, Pet Shop Boys, The Libertines, The Sherlocks and Twin Atlantic, with more acts to be announced.
